Sitting in the Glas House at the elegant Oslo Concert Hall we welcome you all to the Cox & Parry LIVE, a dynamic backstage studio hosted by renowned British science journalist Vivienne Parry and rockstar slash professor Brian Cox. Exclusively on YouTube!


On-stage, two physicists, Jim Al-Khalili and Selda Ekiz are Master of Ceremonies as the Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre will award ten excellent scientists from nine nationalities with this year’s Kavli Prizes.

More importantly is what happens behind the scenes. Off-stage, imagine a live sports studio, but instead of goals and tactics, the two hosts, Brian Cox and Vivienne Parry (OBE) explain what is new in three science fields; astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience – the fields of The Kavli Prize.

While the award ceremony goes on-stage, you can join us for the expert reactions, the science explained and backstage interviews with some of the finest scientists and science communicators available.
